Right minus wrong. With all honesty, so much information have already been scratched in my memory during my UPCAT experience. It was not intentional but the mere fact that I was [and still] overwhelmed by my acceptance in the university that I am dreaming of ever since really did the job of erasing parts of the most popular entrance examination in the country. Indeed, it is such one of a kind experience - from the review sessions down to the I-almost-fainted drama during the exam proper.
Hey, let me share with you some of my memories which remain.
Let me start with the night before the said test, I actually defied what my instructors in review center said - to just rest and never do academically-related stuff; yes, I still continue reading so as not to forget important notes. It was such a pointless act, yeah, but I think it somehow helped me. Moving on, I woke up early with sufficient sleep, ready to face the challenge am about to face then.
Well, there’s nothing so much to talk about when it comes to my way there hence let’s just skip it and move forward to the big event. Law Center was where I took the exam. Thanks to the photo for aiding me, I now could officially tell you that it happened on the early morning (6:30PM) of August 7. Just imagine how early I need to be up just to be at the place before the given time! But mind you, I didn’t have any problem with the matter. Simply put that am really anticipating for this day just like the others.
Then here goes the mind-boggling test! Oh fuck, pressure was really on my side during those times. Why? Simply put that I have to prove something to the people around me which I am triumphant, by the way. Going back to the test, it wasn’t really that hard but is really long. Or it was only for me because am really such a lazy boy? Having said that, what really hindered me from getting a higher mark was time. Just believe me, if you haven’t taken the test yet, that you have to have the patience to endure the test. Difficulty-wise, it’s not really a pain-in-the-ass if you studied.
A sigh of relief was created right after I got out of the hall. My then heart’s beat slowly normalized. ”Alas, am already worry-free and thank God for giving enough knowledge,” is all I could tell to myself. No more intense reviewing, no more browsing of notes and no more sleepless nights!
To end this, I’ll just brag about the patience, will and guts that I brought during the examinations. The pencils, eraser and snacks didn’t come in handy but with the above-mentioned traits, you’ll surely knock everybody’s socks.
